Just doing my latest GST return and the penny just dropped that exporting is good as you do not pay GST on exports, but you claim the GST on purchases you made to create those exports.

So this month I will be getting a small, but good GST refund !

Perhaps then we could focus on manufacturing instead of exporting all our raw materials?

It would be nice if they would go one way or the other instead of taxing us every which way!
