Query (or Bleg): Singapore refined petrol data

February 18th, 2009 Matt Nolan

So, where do I get figures on Singapore refined petrol prices?

Crude oil has been falling, the exchange rate has stayed stable, but rising refining costs have driven up the retail price of petrol.  If anyone knows where I can find the figures it would be much appreciated ;)

You can also try the Ministry of Economic Development Oil price monitoring http://www.med.govt.nz/templates/MultipageDocumentTOC____39564.aspx They also have an archive of data they I suspect you might be interested in if your developing some time series information. It also has the fuel levies and taxes info that you can use to strip out impact of levies/taxes on pump price.

You will find the answer on the US Department of Energy, Energy Information Administration web site which has spot prices for Singapore refined petrol. See: http://www.eia.doe.gov/emeu/international/oilprice.html and scroll down.
